About Myself
Hi, I am Julia Spinley.
I’m a dedicated well-being coach with a unique perspective, drawing from my extensive 25-year career as a nurse. Throughout my journey in healthcare, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the profound effects of lifestyle choices on individuals, particularly women in their 40s and beyond.
My own personal transformation is intertwined with my professional experience. While as a nurse, I saw people suffer with preventative medical illnesses, I also personally struggled with emotional eating, and as the years passed, it began to take its toll on my health.
My pivotal moment came when I took blood tests and was shocked to see that I had developed Diabetes Type 2 and hypercholesterol. I realised that the longer I left it, the harder it gets to reverse it. This ignited a powerful drive within me to seek out a healthier path. I knew it was time for a change. Over the last 4 years, I’ve embarked on an educational journey, delving into various tools and strategies to transform my health and my life. Through study and practical application, I’ am so grateful to have discovered the keys to achieve a healthy weight and sustain overall physical well-being. The day I got my results showing I was no longer diabetic was an incredible relief. I am now living a healthier and happier life, it meant the world to me. Everyday I see busy women who don’t properly look after themselves. I believe this is because they don’t have the powerful mindset and practical tools to make it happen.
My personal transformation made me want to help others to experience the same positive changes in their lives. So I decided to become an advocate for holistic well-being. I furthered my study and became certified as a well-being coach, specialising in healthy lifestyle and weight loss.
